On the culinary front, Lutece Cafe has been praised for its generous portions and reasonable pricing, making it a favorite among those looking for a hearty meal. Customer reviews highlight standout dishes such as ravioli and burgers, perfect for family outings. The duck breast and chicken dishes also receive nods, although some feedback suggests that while the food is good, it may not leave you breathless with flavor.

Service at Lutece Cafe tends to lean towards friendly, though some guests have experienced mix-ups with orders. Still, many agree that the staff's warmth makes up for any slight hiccups in service. It’s commendable how the cafe attracts a bustling mix of locals—an experience made richer when engaging with the community in a few phrases of French.
In summary, Lutece Cafe offers a delightful yet relaxed culinary experience in the heart of Paris. Whether you pop in for a quick coffee or a leisurely meal, the cafe stands as a hidden gem, brimming with local charm. “ The decor of the place is indifferent. It has a distinct smell indoors which is not very pleasing. Service was friendly but average. They mixed up the order ( we cancelled one item and replaced it with another but they ended up bringing both). The coffee was also basic. It was not well prepared and resembled a latte rather than a proper cappuccino! Would probably visit again only if I wanted a quick drink ”
“ Great food and big portion! Price is very reasonable and the service is friendly. Most customers are locals so I tried to speak in my broken French. It’s a bit far from the city center but close to the Nation station. Worthy it to visit if you happen in the neighborhood. ”
“ The place is nice to enjoy a beer or to eat. The terrace is huge and smoking is allowed so be aware that if the front door is open then inside it will smell like a lot of smoke. The food is good and they are very kind and have a good service. ”
“ Absolutely awesome experience at Lutèce Café. Delicious food and family friendly. Try the ravioli the burgers were a hit with the kids. Great prices quick professional service. A hidden gem - filled with locals. ”
“ I ordered duck breast with mushrooms and vegetables and my friend ordered chicken with crispy onions and rice, it was good, but not amazing. The place is nice, low lights vibes, but it feels that the glasses and the table were sticking. The waiter was gentle, we spoke English and it was okay. ”
“ Decided to try this place because it was recommended by our host at our Airbnb. Definitely a very local spot so I wouldn’t recommend a tourist come here. Unfortunately there was only one waiter that spoke somewhat English so it made it difficult to order. Kitchen does close and reopen at 7 PM which we were not aware of so we did stay and wait. The food was OK. I was not really impressed. The fries were really greasy and soggy. The Caesar salad was OK. The pizza was good. Had leftovers and reheated it for the next day and it still tasted good. Overall, the restaurant was so so. Ate inside because it was crowded outside, but all the smell from the cigarettes come straight inside the restaurant so very little ventilation inside. ”
“ Lutece was a cafe we passed almost daily during my stay and it was always busy. We decided to stop by and eat there. They didn't have eggs burgundy but I saw that as a menu item from over a year ago so I wasn't disappointed. I tried the Lutece pizza and it was amazing. More than I could eat myself and very delicious. Good beer and prices as well. The menu is offered in a variety of languages via QR code. The servers were also very attendant and friendly. They spoke English which is good because my French is dreadfully bad. It was a great cafe which the locals seemed to pack in daily. ”
